What is Fitset?

Fitset is an online multi-studio fitness pass to a variety of local boutique fitness studios, community fitness centres, climbing gyms, swimming pools and more. Try out yoga, spinning, bootcamp, pilates, CrossFit, dance, indoor climbing and many other fun fitness activities with one of Fitset’s flexible membership options.

When does my subscription start? When I sign up for Fitset or when I attend the first class?

Your subscription starts from the moment of registration on this website, not from the date of your first class.

How does Fitset work?

When you join Fitset and book a class online through our website or iOS app, all you have to do is show up, mention Fitset and enjoy your workout! Our studio partners may ask for ID. Behind the scenes, our partners have a list of customers who've booked the class.

What is the billing period?

Your pass auto-renews every 30 days according to the date you signed up. You are not billed per calendar month. Our customers sometimes receive special offers from pre-purchasing subscriptions for several months. The billing cycle still works on 30 days; you just don’t get charged monthly if you have pre-purchased several months of subscription. After the pre-purchased period ends, you continue automatically on a regular monthly basis.

How do I book a class, gym session or activity?

  1. Visit fitset.ca and login
  2. You can then book a class, gym session or activity by clicking on the “Schedule” button on the top menu bar. Click on the studio you would like to attend, view available classes or open gym times and then click “Reserve”
  3. You should receive an email verifying your class reservation

Can I make last minute reservations?

Want to get a last minute workout in? We got you! You have up to 1 minute before the class to reserve your spot. Some studios require longer, but most are 1 minute.

What is the activity cancellation policy?

We usually require cancelations at least 2 hours prior to the start time of the class. Each location has a unique cancellation policy so please read and understand the policy before you reserve the class. Most of our locations have limited space so please cancel a reservation if you think you cannot make it.

Can I use Fitset to go back to a class more than 4 times?

No. You can only visit the exact same studio or gym on Fitset 4 times maximum per 30 day billing cycle. If you require additional visits, you can purchase directly from the studio partner. This rule is applied to any price plan that we have including the Unlimited plan.

The class I like is sold out, what should I do?

We are partnered with popular studios in the City and some classes fill up fast, so we encourage you to book in advance to make sure you get the class and times you want. If the class you want is no longer available, you can e-mail us at hello@fitset.ca and we would be more than happy to give you some recommendations based on your preferences.

Are all classes at a studio or gym available through Fitset?

We offer the vast majority of classes at the studios and gyms that are part of the Fitset membership. However, there are certain classes and activities that are reserved for their own members. Don't you worry! We are always adding more classes and activities so there will be plenty of choices for you! Why is my credit card saved? Is it secure?

Your credit card information is saved through our partner, Stripe. At the beginning of each membership cycle, we will bill your membership fee to the credit card associated to your account. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor, and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1, which is the most stringent level of certification available.

Where can I switch my price plan?

You can switch your price plan in the “Profile” section under the “Billing” tab.

Are there any fees associated with changing plans?

There are no extra fees for upgrading or downgrading your plan.

How many times can I switch a price plan per month?

You can switch your price plan once per calendar month.

How do I Upgrade my Plan?

You can upgrade your plan at any time during a billing cycle. When you upgrade your plan you will be charged immediately for the price difference between plans, and your new plan will take effect immediately but your billing cycle will remain the same. If upgrading from the Five plan to the Ten plan, any past visits during the current billing cycle will be transferred over to the new plan. If you are upgrading to Unlimited, you will have unlimited visits for the remainder of the billing cycle and your plan will renew on the Unlimited plan.

How do I Downgrade my Plan?

You can downgrade your plan at any time during a billing cycle, but please make sure to do it as close to the end of your billing cycle as possible. When you downgrade your plan the new plan will take effect immediately and you will not be reimbursed for any plan difference. If you are downgrading and have already used more than the max # of visits available in the plan you are downgrading to, you will not be able to make any more bookings until the plan renews and starts a new billing cycle.

What if I want to cancel Fitset?

There are no contracts or cancellation fees. Come and go as you please with Fitset. You can cancel any time. However, once you cancel you cannot book or attend classes anymore. Hence, it’s better to cancel closer to the end of your billing cycle or when you have used all of your classes.

Can I put my pass on hold?

Only if you have locked in on a promotion for 6 months or more, otherwise no.

Do you charge for no-shows?

Yes, so please let us know beforehand or just cancel the class online. We must pay our studio partners for no shows and charge $15 for no-shows or late cancels and do not return the visit.

Refund Policy

Our refund policy is very straightforward and honest. If we have made an error that does not reflect our policies in these FAQs, we will make a refund immediately and apologize. We are not perfect, and mistakes happen. If everything is being done correctly on our side, we are always happy to offer solutions, however we do not refund money.
